F.O.D.
If you were to injest a plastic bag in to a turbine engine on taxi would you continue or return for a look? Specifically an ERJ 170.
Re: F.O.D.
Return and have it looked at. I would hate to read a report later on that said "the crew were aware of a forign object entering the engine and elected to continue the take-off". Plastic bags are probably not an approved fuel type so better safe than sorry.

I would pull over to the side of the ramp, then using my iphone, log on to avcanada and start a poll whether or not to continue the flight. Then I'd base my decision on the majority vote.
But in all seriousness, when in doubt don't take off, "better to be on the ground wishing you where flying then flying wishing you where on the ground" If you had to ask the question, you had doubt, hopefully you parked it.

Oh, I had doubt's alright. As a passenger it might not have been appropriate to park someone else's plane though. And yes it was brought to their attention. And no we didn't park it.

I guess thats why airliners carry a spare engine right?
