Flight Instructor in Brampton Flight Center
Hello!
Can any one recommend a flight instructor from Brampton Flight Center?
Also would like to know is it hard to schedule a plane for training?
How far ahead do I need to schedule the aircraft?
Thanks!

What kind of training are you planning to take?
You could reserve even for the next day but to have a fairly good availability I would say at least 2 weeks in advance. Some istructors are bussier than others so that depends

Come to Guelph... 1-800-599-7539
A little further to drive, however, no membership fees, friendlier staff, cheaper a/c, more availabilty and you don't have to wait two weeks to fly.

Re: Flight Instructor in Brampton Flight Center
you will not find better aircraft than at BFC.....cheaper is rarely better. all 172p had garmin 430 installs, interiors done, and are maintained to a very high standard. availability can be an issue during july and august since they are doing the cadets, but with the decrease in indian students that should not be an issue this summer. There are several great instructors there, but before I start dropping names pm me, because there are many factors that will determine who is best suitable for you.... How often do you want to fly.....your days and hrs of availability......age.....etc.
pm me and I will recomend someone to suit your needs.

Not cheaper at all if you really look at it.... you need gas to get there! Personally I like the membership fee, and you do not have to wait two weeks to fly! BFC is top notch. Please do your research.. the fee help maintain the airport and assist with upgrades!Dakota wrote:Come to Guelph... 1-800-599-7539

/thread jack
Since it seems that a lot of BFC members are looking at this thread. I am thinking of visiting the place of where I first started flying some 20 years ago. It would mostly likely fall over a weekend and involve a flight in to grab some lunch and then continue on VFR around the area until back to YYZ or where-ever I park the machine over night.
Nothing military-sexy, just a plain C-90 King Air, is there Jet A-1 available?

Ok - figured as much - I probably won't need to upload any fuel - I just like to spread around the Queen's Shilling when I take the bird out.
Re: Flight Instructor in Brampton Flight Center
Isn't the PT-6 certified for 100LL for 150hrs or something like that?

correct. you can pretty much put anyting but urine and she'll go. unfortunately if you do she'll need to go through inspection, paperwork, and all that jazz.
