Russia Victory day parade Red Square video -127 aircraft . .

Post by robbreid »

Had to change the thread title, as the second post below includes many of the aircraft from today's parade . . .
Original thread title commented on US troops marching in today's parade.

For those that have live thru the cold war, amazing - today United States, French, Polish troops marched alongside over 10,000 Russian troops in today's VE celebrations in Red Square!!!!!!! My late Uncle who was a WWII vet, and involved in UK politics would have been very proud to know this day has actually arrived in my lifetime. Interesting world we live in.

Today's event was the largest showing of Russian military hardware to date . . .

That was annoying! Who wants to see their faces when you can look at the aircraft! 21:16 of part two was rather amusing though...

Yep. At least have someone commentate that know what the aircraft are. 21:16 is quite funny "fireworks.... or Chafe!!!" And the last thing I knew the Tu-22M3 wasn't a fighter aircraft.

Besides that, Beautiful aircraft and I am sure the noise was incredible.

i always like how smokey those mig-29's are , remind me of the F-4 phantoms .

not sure if i seen some Foxbats , surprised if they are still in svc ... must be fortune to fly those .

... fireworks , lol .

there was a similar flyover for reagans funeral in the US which had some serious airpower to salute the occasion . if anyone has a link to that lve it as i didnt see it on t.v. that day .

Russia still has some Foxbats in service. But chances are they were probably Mig-31 Foxhounds in the video. Hard to tell without the gear down.
