Advantage Keewatin pilots. Calm Air has one of the sweetest collective agreements in Canada.

Re: Calm Air Press Release Coming Up
It might have something to do with their new hangar.
For some reason it's a secret as to where the new hangar will be located. Maybe news about the hangar and something else?
As for the Keewatin thingy, they've taken over the ground support in YYQ so you never know... but i highly doubt it

Decision No. 322-A-2011
August 31, 2011
APPLICATION by Calm Air International LP, as represented by its general partner, Calm Air GP Inc. carrying on business as Calm Air, on behalf of itself and Ultimate JETCHARTERS, LLC carrying on business as Ultimate Air Shuttle, pursuant to section 60 of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, as amended, and section 8.2 of the Air Transportation Regulations, SOR/88-58, as amended.
File No.: M4210/C633-1
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Calm Air International LP, as represented by its general partner, Calm Air GP Inc. carrying on business as Calm Air (Calm Air), on behalf of itself and Ultimate JETCHARTERS, LLC carrying on business as Ultimate Air Shuttle (Ultimate JETCHARTERS), has applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (Agency) for an approval to permit Calm Air to provide its domestic service, small aircraft using a Dornier 328-300 type aircraft and flight crew provided by Ultimate JETCHARTERS, from September 1, 2011 to February 28, 2012 with a possible 90-day extension.
Calm Air has also requested an exemption from the application of subsection 8.2(2) of the Air Transportation Regulations (ATR), which requires the filing of an application for an approval at least 45 days before the first planned flight. The Agency finds that compliance with subsection 8.2(2) of the ATR is impractical in this case. Accordingly, the Agency, pursuant to paragraph 80(1)(c) of the Canada Transportation Act (CTA), exempts Calm Air from the application of subsection 8.2(2) of the ATR.
Calm Air is licensed to operate domestic services using small, medium and all-cargo aircraft.
The Agency notes that Transport Canada exempted Ultimate JETCHARTERS from the application of subsections 700.02(1) and 701.02(1) of the Canadian Aviation Regulations, SOR/96-433 to permit it, while not being the holder of a Canadian Air Operator Certificate, to conduct commercial air services in Canada, on behalf of Calm Air.
The Agency has considered the application and the material in support and is satisfied that it meets the remaining requirements of section 8.2 of the ATR.
Accordingly, the Agency, pursuant to paragraph 60(1)(b) of the CTA, approves the use by Calm Air of a Dornier 328-300 type aircraft and flight crew provided by Ultimate JETCHARTERS, and the provision by Ultimate JETCHARTERS of such aircraft and flight crew to Calm Air, to permit Calm Air to provide its domestic service, small aircraft using a Dornier 328-300 type aircraft and flight crew provided by Ultimate JETCHARTERS, from September 1, 2011 to April 1, 2012.
This approval is subject to the following conditions:
1.Calm Air shall continue to hold the valid licence authority.
2.Commercial control of the flights shall be maintained by Calm Air. Ultimate JETCHARTERS shall maintain operational control of the flights and shall receive payment based on the rental of aircraft and crew and not on the basis of the volume of traffic carried or other revenue-sharing formula.
3.Calm Air and Ultimate JETCHARTERS shall continue to comply with the insurance requirements set out in subsections 8.2(4), 8.2(5) and 8.2(6) of the ATR.
4.Calm Air shall continue to comply with the public disclosure requirements set out in section 8.5 of the ATR.
5.Calm Air and Ultimate JETCHARTERS shall advise the Agency in advance of any changes to the information provided in support of the application.

I saw a Dornier 328 on their ramp a few days ago. I was wondering what it was doing there.
