Is there peace in Iraq, or something? I haven't heard of any American casualties in the news for a long time.

Does the media think it's boring now, and not report anything?

are you joking, you should've seen the car bomb that went off today while the Americans were pushing this vehicle off the road with their hummer. Some reporter caught the whole thing and it was aired today. Saw it while wasting precious hours today at an FBO.

That footage of the car bomb going off as it was being pushed off the road was pretty wild!! Must have been hell in the HumVee.

there were 9 more casualtys yesterday something about a land mine it was on cnn.com my theroy is as long as
Ol' G.W os still in office he will be sending young lambs off like so many before them. Just the other day the congress upped the age for the reserve qual to 32 from 27 or 28. pretty soon though there pool has got to get low or empty.

OK, maybe I'm dreaming, or haven't been watching american TV enough.

I posted a thread a while ago, thinking that when the total american casualty count got over 1500, it would be in the news. Not a peep.

Yes the occupation seems to be winding down.
However the efforts back in the USA have been stepped up a notch.

Homeland Security distributed these pamphlets last week throughout
the all the business offices in the continental USA. The cost to print
this information...12 Billion dollars.
