FBI officials say a Thai Airways flight from Bangkok landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport after a written bomb threat was found in a bathroom on the plane.
FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said airport officials were notified Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. PT of the alleged threat to Flight 794.
The plane landed safely just after 8 p.m. and was taken to a remote area of the airport, where passengers exited the plane.
Thai Airways president Piyasvasti Amranand told The Associated Press that a message that there was a bomb on the plane was found on a bathroom mirror. Amranand said the threat was written in English with bad grammar.
Eimiller said the luggage on the plane would be screened and the passengers and crew were being interviewed by law enforcement officers.
She said there were about 200 passengers and crew on board.
The Los Angeles Fire Department says there were 18 fire trucks and fire engines on standby when the plane landed.

Well I've dropped the odd bomb in an onboard lav, but I can't say I've ever left a note to brag about it!
