Actually AC had 6 A319's with MX and I believe one B767.
Other than the 1 A319 in YYC, there is one in YUL parked at the Maintenance base along A taxiway and and 2 or 3 in YYZ as well.
I don't know what AC plans to do : re-integrate to the fleet or re-lease them out.

What is going on with those aircraft in YYC and YUL? Is there any plan
for them, they have been sitting on the ground for a while now.
I imagine that some maintenance will have to be done before they're able to fly again.
There's probably a whole shyte load of maintenance to be done considering who's been flying them. And, I spoke to the owners and "the plan" is to get them flying again so they make some money....tha's the plan.
A319s Added ---two former Mexicana A319s which had been leased from Air Canada are being put back into Air Canada service in an all-economy 132 seat configuration. They are C-GSJB/FIN290, and C-GJVY /FIN292. They are expected to be used on Caribbean tourist routes primarily where there is very little demand for Business-Class seating.
Mexicana had until the end of December to restructure and re-emerge. Sounds like they will liquidate. Sad day for them. Shows you that even an airline that had been around for 89 years can go TangoUniform.
