YYC-YWG routes all Jazz

Post by mikegtzg »

As a regular flier on this route. Noticed that all the flights are now Jazz and no Embrauers. Anyone know if this is a short term thing. I found them to be more confortable than the Canadair RJ's.
I'd call AC directly but they likely wouldn't tell me the truth anyway and my ear would be sore from holding the phone to get a real person.

I would imagine it will be used for the winter schedule. Looking at the schedule online it is a mix of CRJ705 and CRJ100/200.

I figure that AC needs to hear about this stuff if you are unhappy about equipment, schedule, pricing, availability, or what have you. Customer feedback is vital to moving forward.

They might need the aircraft on other routes and maybe the route doesn't justify anything bigger.

I think most passengers would like to see all 75-seat RJ routes taken up by the E75. It is a much better product, especially when the competition is flying a B737. However, I don't think there are many passengers out there that make their decision based on aircraft type. More like Price, Schedule, Loyalty program, Percieved level of service...then aircraft type. So we probably can't expect this to change.
