Brier Island Nova Scotia airport?

Hi, first post here

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about a small air strip on Brier Island, NS. It appears to be approximately 2500 feet long (paved). However, it doesn't show up on any list of airports in Nova Scotia?

I have a lat and long for it N44 15' 24", W066 21' 34". You're right, I couldn't find anything about it either. I know of the strip, been over it a few times but I've never been there myself. Perhaps a call to one of the hotels or B&B's in Westport would put you in touch with someone who might know more. The Brier Island Lodge and Restaurant (902) 839-2300 might help.

Flew into there about seven years ago. I seem to recall having to contact these people, http://www.dbkenneyfisheries.com/ to let them know I was coming. They used to have pictures of the runway on their website, so maybe they aren't maintaining it anymore.

In any event you could always contact the folks at Greenwood Flight Centre in Waterville ( http://www.flygfc.com ). I was renting there at the time and they had some good information about who to contact, what to expect, etc.
