Leslie Nielsen R.I.P
You may be wondering why I'm posting about Leslie Nielsen in this Aviation forum.
He would at times come to Whitehorse to visit his brother Eric and go flying in Erics 180.
One year the 180 tied to the Schwatka dock had the tied float completly under water and straining on the ropes.
I observed the brothers put a float pump into one compartment and procede to pump away trying to get that pontoon up and out of the water.
Now that was funny.

My first thought when I read about his death was of course; Shirley you can't be serious...
unfortunately the article was serious. I bought a portable DVD player while in DFW a few years ago and the first movie I watched on the flight home was Airplane.
