Anyone here have any experience with the Adventure Pilot GPS?It appears after watching the video that it was designed for the average joe like me who fly's for fun and the famous $100 hamburger. The $500 price tag is also appealing.

I haven't used it, but the FAQ says it doesn't include Canadian charts or data.
I really wish Nav Canada would adopt a more open approach to data like the US government does. There have been so many awesome innovations down there in the past few years because the data is so accessible.Does this unit include maps of Canada?
Answer: Currently only U.S. maps and data are available on the iFly 700

I guess it would depend where you live.US sectionals cover most of Ontario .As 99% of all my flying will be between Manitoulin Island and Windsor, it would work for me.Question is will they ever add the rest of Canada.

Re: Adventure Pilot GPS
Mike,
Thanks for your interest in the iFly 700. We are currently initiating a relationship with Nav Canada. We hope to be able to offer a Canadian Data option very soon. We are now waiting on them and will proceed quickly once we have the ball.
Canada is our most requested country and thus our initial focus for new countries. If all goes well, we hope to offer this in Spring 2011.
Fly Safe,
Shane
