Does anyone know anything about those two companies?
Do they Hire Pilots from their Dock Staff?
How are the working conditions?
What about pay and benefits?
What are the minimum requirements?
Anything i haven't thought of?
Cheers,
Andreas

Unless you have tons of float time already, say about 1000 and then some on type like a beaver or a single otter youll never see the inside of a plane. they mainly cater to executives and tourists and pretty much expect their pilots to be experienced. there isnt many companies that require a shirt and tie and shoulder bars to fly floats.
they don't hire from the dock and the pay is around the $10 and hour mark. they both are good to work for and as for benefits they are standard. most people i have talked to in recent years enjoy working there. the summers are smoking busy and most layoffs come in september. if anthing youll get some good contacts in the industry and learn something. i hope that answers most of your questions.
