Looks like a busy day at CHB3!

I'm there all week, so expect to see more shots from there!

As for photos north of the Arctic Circle, just have a look through some of the sets on my flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/jspitfire.

Broughton Island (CYVM) this past Christmas - that's me on top, de-icing the thing. 67.55N, so, just a wee bit north of the Arctic Circle. The lower picture was taken at noon hour (local time) on Dec 28.

I was a former Bradley/First Air Pilot back in the late 70'/early 80's.
I've got a slew of pictures on my Webshots page at
http://community.webshots.com/user/peterhill101

If you scroll down the page, there are several folders for LOREX 79 and FRAM 80.

LOREX was an ice camp at about N88-38' W172-18'. We were based out of Alert

FRAM was based out of Nord, Greenland. We flew from Resolute to Thule. There
for a few days before heading to Nord. I've got some pics of the TriTurbo DC-3.

Sorry just for the link, but I don't have time to upload photos. But I hope you all enjoy
if you take the time to look.

Doesn't look like a nice day to be in Broughton. And no de-ice boots? that should have been a fun trip on this past warm december.
