6 string acoustic and electric guitar, SCUBA diving, cook fancy new food, landscaping and the never ending home reno.

Have a couple kids, even just one will eliminate the need or time to even have a hobby

When I'm not out on the Wee Bandit, I can be caught at a local marina, crewing on race boats, or wearing a long gold raincoat hanging around malls.

If you have a large lake or decent river nearby, I highly recommend kayaking. Mountain biking also holds my interest too, although my ass hurts just thinking about it

At the ripe age of 32 I decided to get into snowboarding. Only went once before ten years ago and maybe twice skiing before that.

Just too many good hills around here and I have too much time in the winter not to take advantage.

I know a few guys who like to build RC's. They spend most of the winter building them and their time off in the summer destroying them. Never got into it myself but if things slow it sounds like it would be fun

Pick up an instrument, it's a great thing to do when the wx sucks. When the wx is good I can usually be found biking or kayaking.

I fly for fun as a GA Pilot. My real job SUCKS......I'm not kiddin' !!! If I didn't have to work I could entertain myself (o.k., a little cross-contamination or fluid exchange is alright also) constantly. I love salt-water sportfishing, gunkholing (not what you think!) its described as exploring islands, inlets, small bays, intertidal zones, etc. Motorcycle touring but it must be warm!!!
And to Doc, I would love to get back into sailing and sail boat racing but none of my friends even know what I'm talking about. Love camping with a campfire but NOT in an organized campsite. I'm talking deep woods way off the grid. I build stuff and mechanic stuff out of necessity and I guess its a bit of hobby....hot rod truck and hot rod boat and I completely reno'd my home but I think fishing is the big one fun!!! :smt040

Shooting eh? I've played with airguns for a while. PM me if you want to know how to get a Crossman q1000 breakbarrel up to 1000fpm, in Canada, for free! (the shooters here will know why this is a feat here in Canada). Makes a wicked <100 buck plinker.
Others:
Drag boat, track bike, wakeboarding, waterskiing, windsurfing, skydiving, downhill bike, seadooing, snowboarding skiing, tennis and hockey.

WAIT!! I just moved to Toronto and it's winter- sooooooo... Corrected and revised list:

Spending too much money on food and booze. Starbucks, complaining about the weather, forgetting how to drive, general political dissatisfaction and yet overall supremacy over everyone else. (That includes you! Are you from Toronto?? No?? Neither am I but I'll act like it because I live here, therefore me>you). Resentment and self loathing hiding under the skin. Repeatedly going to f*ck myself.

Now that I'm retired, I still play with airplanes. Go to my website http://www.barneysairforce.com and you'll see how I waste my time.

I'm building myself one of these: http://www.vansaircraft.com/public/rv-8int.htm
It will sure teach you a hell of a lot about airframes and piston engines too.

I fly at desk for a living. Have a private license with a long expired medical. In the airline business all of my life. I run an email thing for propeller heads.

Spare time these days taken up by freelancing as a bass player. I do 5-10 gigs a year. Currently doing home recording. Into cycling. Weekends are now spent puttering around a 200 year old stone barn that's been converted to a house in the French countryside. Life is good.
