New Class 4s

Post by BTD »

Hey there,

I'm just about to graduate from an aviation program with the MIFR commercial, all that jazz. I'm planning on doing my Instructor rating after finishing, and I've got that all lined up. Oppurtunities look fairly promising with the FTU when I'm done the rating but because no one really ever can be sure how that will work out,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows any places anywhere in Canada that are looking or will be looking for Instructors and that will be willing to take fresh Class 4s in the coming months?

Thanks

If you're REALLY fast, you might be able to find somehwere they do Air Cadet Training, like Cedars near Montreal, or Trois Riviere in Quebec (if you can speak french)...there are many more across the country. BUT they usually have their instructors lined up by now, but you might get lucky, who knows. They usually start training the Cadets around the last week of June to the first week of July.

Good Luck

no more cadets in trois-rivieres, Qc... they moved to st-honoré, and the staff is selected early feb. every year, mostly from CQFA.

You could also try in SW ON at CYKF. They usually get 20 + cadets for the summer.

Good luck

Keep your eyes on the Flight "CLUB" enivornments. They tend to hire both in and outside of their school where as many flight training centers will tell you they only hire instructors that did their rating with them.

Apply to schools with no CLASS 1 instructors. They have no choice but to hire from outside.

Sometimes I think it's a shame when I get feelin' better when I'm feelin no pain.
