an idea of running sightseeing operations in the carribean with 206 on floats or some other type
is it not realisitic ? somewhere like st thomas which is still the united states would be easiest.
any thoughts?

The short of it is that's not that easy (permits, AOC wise) and warm salt water eats floatplanes for breakfast.
Safari Seaplanes out of Nassau Bahamas and Seaborne out of BVI are the main float plane players in the area. Though there are other smaller operators that are local and don't show up in google searches.
