As it's only 15 mins from home, I'll most likely go both days
It is a good show for running into friends and contacts and catching up on things around the Industry.

I will be making the drive from brampton. The timing is perfect seen as how the UFC in Toronto is on the same day as well. It will be a dandy weekend.
Re: Canadian Aviation Expo, who's going?
I'm going to try and head out there.

I'll be running the Warbird Groundschool and Flight Program for the Expo (program open to ALL Licensed Pilots), so I'll be there all weekend long.

Re: Canadian Aviation Expo, who's going?
I would go if someone promised to buy my plane off me so I didn't have to bring it back.
Putting money into aviation is like wiping before you poop....it just don't make sense!

I'll fly her back for ya!
Does anyone know if there is a pilots lounge available or if they are cool with me setting up camp in the terminal for the night?

Oh oh, should we tell him it's a D-18.
I used to see Goldwings and think, "That looks like riding an arm chair. Who want's to ride one of those."
Now I See Goldwings and think, "That looks like riding an arm chair, I would like to ride one of those."
I think I'd go with the T-33 ground school if I could make it, it was at one time my favorite plane. I don't know if it would be my first choice to fly anymore, I would probably rather the D-18 now days. Just like my two wheelers I like a challenge but for the most part I just want to relax and cruise. This isn't a bomber.

I booked a hotel for Friday night in Burlington. I'm debating staying another night. Anyone want to meet up?

On another aviation Forum I belong to, members from all over the world have a beer night at Oshkosh. Lots of fun and a great learning experience.
I know one or two members outside of this Forum but not many.
Would there be interest in having an AVCANADA meet somewhere or would most people rather keep their identities to themselves ?
Could a bunch of pilots and other aviation types be able to handle each other and keep our egos in check ?
Could be a great opportunity

The 447 Wing is long gone fro the Airportjust curious wrote:If the Wing is still open, might be the last chance ever.

They relocated to the old Lee's Chinese Rest. building down the road in the village but I an mot sure if they are still there
Would be an excellent venue.
