ok now, seriously, what are my chances of landing that AC job with a PPL, night rating and 5 hrs of hood time?!?!?!!??

Sorry to break it to you, but you're going to need a CPL for that.

That is easy to get though... look in your license booklet, and find a number that starts with "PA", as in PA938475. Just so you know, the "P" means "Private" and the "A" means "Aeroplane".

To change it to a commercial license, you guessed it, you need to change the "P" to a "C", for commercial.

You probably learned in groundschool that when there is an error in an official document (eg. journey log, flight sheet, ect.), the correct way to change it is to cross out the problem, and write in the correct information.

So, simply cross out the "P" and write in "C" in your license booklet. Then you will be an official commercial pilot. Just don't forget to initial the change, or they might question the correction. Good luck at Air Canada! :supz:

i just have one more question. if i get a few more hours of touch and go's in a piper pawnee, will i be able to get that AA in front of my license #??
