Ruth Ellen Brosseau

I must say I'm amused and facinated by everything about her being elected.

Actually, I wish the young lady well. I can remember when I had 150 hours and a float endorsement and went looking for a job. What needs changing here is the system that allows a candidate to be parachuted into a riding without living there. Candidates should not only live in a riding, they should also own property there and pay tax on it.

Some years ago when little Jimmy Cutes was Trudeau's principal secretary, or something, they tried to get him elected in a couple of by-elections by parachuting him into the riding. He lost twice or three times, which gave rise to the definition 'Liberal parachute - opens on impact.'

...and my wife let me. From the two pictures available, yes for sure.

Who knows maybe she will be great.

I'm still laughing right now. The best was that fake twitter account before it was suspended.

There's hardly any news about her still, I don't know if that's good or bad.

Well she seems to have found a French phrase book.

Love the part where the Minister says he knows the region well to someone who wants a sports complex for an area she'd never seen before.

I've got no problems with her, but it's too bad the politicians want to run a circus instead of a country.

Sounds like Quebec wants more Alberta money...............Again. and to really show how childish it all is...... A standing ovation for asking for a handout. Do they not realize how stupid they all look. And I meant ALL, both sides.

Until one of us seperates that's how it's going to be. I don't think my gal REB is the reason they're looking for a hand with the rec center.

I'd rather spend some extra Oil revenue on Quebec than let all the corperations from other countries squish oil out of our ground but I seem to be a wierdo here.

Ms. Brosseau is a very young political neophyte who did a very creditable job standing up and asking her first question in parliament on behalf of her constituents. No doubt her colleagues were applauding her poise and confidence facing the thugs across the aisle. She's apparently a fast learner.
