I believe the KC-135's are the same aircraft as the original Boeing 80 (B707 demonstrator) basically a Boeing 720 with a narrower fuselage. The VC-137's are Boeing 707's.
Noting that 'Chaxterium' list's his home at Trenton, here is the history of the five Canadian Armed Forces CC137's (Boeing 707's) that used to be based at Trenton.

As for the accident airplane, it was an ex- Pan Am B707-321B - interesting that when they did the tanker modification - they left the windows in!!
