Hey guys can someone give me the details about how to list yourself on a flight? I am trying to get on a flight from Europe next week to yyz. I am a jazz pilot and have never used Transat. Is there a number to call or do I just show up at the gate? Feel free to PM me if you wish.
Thanks

Mclovin,
If you go on ALPA and the MEC page, to committees, then Jumpseat. Top left, there is a link to OAL listing procedures. It has the procedures for all the OALs, for Transat, it says, go to the check in counter min 60 mins before departure, with valid pilot certificate(assuming Licence) and company ID. They will advise the Captain etc.

Thanks MB. I did see that, but when I arrived in Madrid the other day I asked the agent at the check in desk about it. I dont think he fully understood but said I needed to list myself on the flight with reservations. It could have been lost in translation however.
Anyone else?

What he said, and insist since the "out of base" check-in people aren't Transat employees but contractors and aren't always aware of the procedures.

Arrive early and if the counter staff are not able to help you, ask to speak with the Air Transat Rep, explain who you are and if they are unclear on things ask that they contact the Captain, he/she should be able to clear things up in a couple of secs.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the crew for letting me use the recip. jump seat program out of Madrid the other day. Everyone was so friendly from the Transat rep. at the check in counter to the flight deck crew to the back end crew. I was very impressed and was treated like a king, was one of the best flights I have ever had!
Thank you very much guys!
