Molson Kick

Post by NFA »

Hey everybody. I have heard many different opinions on this new beer. I have just tried it and it tastes pretty good to me. I just wanted to know how you have felt about it. Happy tasting!

I have to admit that this is a different career subject for a group of pilots. :D

The difference between a pilot and a pig is you will never see a pig trying to pick up a pilot at one AM in a bar. :drinkers:

I work at the beer store and it is selling more and more everyday. tried it once Five finger discount. They haven't paid me my premiums for a while so I took a six pack. But I am a pilot I don't have the money to spend on that beer. Bohemian $13.50 for 12 gotta love it.

I'm skeptical. It's been my experiance that Molson wouldn't know a good beer if it was poured all over them.

Perfect, now we will have a bunch of wide awake drunks to contend with. As if the sleepy ones weren't obnoxious enough. Haven't tried it but don't think that it is a great idea. The Caffeine that is in the Kick is the same as is in Red Bull or that is what I have been told, haven't been able to comfirm. I think that the introduction of caffiene to alcohol is, at the very least, irresponsible.

I got to think that over the last 2000 years beer has pretty much been perfected. We don't need Caffiene Beer, Ice Beer, Dry Beer, Light Beer,Cranberry Beer, Blueberry Beer or 25$ a case imported yuppie beer.
End of Rant.

Who has tried Absnith yet? I had the green stuff a few weeks ago. It tasted like Scope. They are selling it in Ontario now. Expensive I hear, like 85$ a bottle. Has anyone ever tried Alcool from Quebec? Two drinks and your done.

In addition to being 75% alcohol, real Absinthe has oil of wormwood, which contains thujone.

Thujone is a powerful psychoactive drug, so you might not wanna try it for the first time at the girlfriend's parents house.

It's legal in Canada again, so that's cool. Just give yourself two days if you go on a bender - one to drink, and one to recover.

Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while it seems the pig starts to like it
