Shows how much real estate you can cover with 2 × General Electric F404-GE-402 turbofans generating 22,000lbs of thrust strapped to your a$$!!
If you can afford the plane, you can afford the gas!
Re: Helmet cam on a F18
The Canadian CF-18 demo pilots always seem to have a kind of style that for some reason the US pilots don't.
I remember seeing a guy called Marc Charpentier many years ago doing the CF-18 demos and he just had a beautiful flair. Take-off, then roll immediately with the gear up, and kind of push up rolling with the gear out. Everything was very close in, and his routine was always busy, always something happening, was very elegant to watch. I remember comparing it to a us F16 demo pilot and it was really night and day. The F16 did these really fast fly bys, a roll or two, then went miles, turned around and came back, while the Charpentier was doing it all within a box a few miles cubed. Anyway you can sort of see the difference between these two videos. Lot more workout required for the CF-18 pilot there but both cool, thanks for posting.

Well I can only dream. Was he getting paid to fly it as well?
