Warning Theft and Tampering with Aircraft in CYBF

Morning all,

This morning, I heard from one of our crews that routinely fly in to Bonnyville that numerous aircraft have been tampered with while the crews were resting. Apparently, each of the 6 aircraft had the right hand prop ties, engine plugs and covers removed and were placed behind the aircraft. Subsequently, each of the aircraft had both headsets removed and placed on top of the large fuel tank at the airport. Obviously, this is tampering with and aircraft and is a criminal offence. I would encourage each of you to lock your aircraft while at Bonnyville Airport when possible and remain extra vigilant when checking your aircraft upon arrival back at the airport.

In the mean time, I have placed a call to the local RCMP and airport manager to notify them of the situation.
