Im looking for the BEST (not the cheapest, but somewhere were I will be properly trained) place to do my INITIAL MIFR. Since I have to keep working, it needs to be in Southern Ontario (if possible)

Im looking at Cornwall Aviation, but I read on some older posts that its a good place for RENEWALS, but not for INITIALS (for some reason)

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

There are a few very good instructors at WWFC in ykf. Availability of the airplane was never a concern for me, instructors always needed some time ahead to book! I did a large protion of my training there and was generally very happy with it! Pm me for some names if you get to that point.

I did my multi-ifr there and the instructor I had made the rating easy to learn and was very professional. He doesn't waste your time/money in the airplane.

Stop my the club and have a look...

Remember that an instrument rating (either single or multi-engine) consists merely of a written test and a flight test with a hold and two approaches. That's it.

Many people (perhaps even the majority) who get instrument ratings have never seen the inside of a cloud, and know nothing about icing or CB's. That's just the reality of the FTU world, and there's no sense getting cranked up about it, because just like the PPL, the instrument rating is a licence to learn, not to kill yourself. A PPL with 500 hours is a different creature than a PPL with 50 hours, and that's as it should be.
