Tailgate aircraft

Post by System Message »

After watching that show about Buffalo Airways where everything revolves around disassembly of the mail to fit it through the door on the side why has the company not aquired aircraft with a door which fits the cargo like a C-123, DHC-4, DHC-5, C-130 instead of L-188 and such?

If we can put oil in the engine while we're flying then we have absolutely no problem at all.

Because they aren't as good as Arctic Sunwest (DHC-5), First Air (L-382), or Summit (SC.7).

That's like asking a homeless person why they aren't wearing more comfortable shoes. The guy is wearing whatever crap he can find in someone's garbage. Buff is flying the same.

They don't fly crap. They just need a door that fits.

How about if I put an "S" in front of crap? Will that suffice?

awesome post.
Those pistons should be retired, I can't believe anyone was still operating those things in that kind of weather 30 years ago, let alone today. I guess it makes for good TV ratings though??
