Hotel to stay at for interview

Post by WestCoastPilot »

Looking for some quick advice.

Flying up to YYZ in a couple weeks for the AC interview. What is a good hotel to stay at, that is reasonably close to the interview site (within 15 mins walking distance), affordable rates, and possibly a hotel shuttle to get back and forth.

Looking for various perspectives.

Thanks for everything.

You'll need to take a shuttle - there is nothing really within walking distance.
Try the Hotel Indigo or Quality Suites at Carlingview/Dixon. They might have a shuttle service up to CAE. 10-15 miute drive depending on traffic.
Good Luck.

If the interviews are done at the Air Canada/CAE building on Bramalae Road I don't think there are any hotels within a 15 minute walk. Probably the closest hotels are on Airport Road or Dixon Road which would be a good 45 minutes (at a brisk pace). I do know that the hotel that Air Canada puts it's new hires in while on course runs a shuttle to the Air Canada building. Just so that someone doesn't accuse me of jeopardizing the security of our new hires I will PM you the name of the hotel.

Good Luck.
