Hello ladies and Gents,
Over the last couple of months Cathay Pacific has been doing some hiring and a few of my friends have been invited to their interviews in Vancouver. Seems this new deal is a bit of a pittance from when it was in previous years, my friends all turned down the opportunity and thanked the company kindly for the offer.
Just the other night I was offered a chance to show them my stuff in an initial interview in Vancouver and wonder if anyone on here has had recent experience interviewing with them or has some coming up. Perhaps we can share some notes, or help each other out with the written/oral part of the interview. Interview date is Feb 3rd. I have heard of a pilot, "Dave Boston" ex CX fellow that does some interview prep.
All the best!

Re: Cathay Interview
Hint number one,
Don't complain about the pay. Add it up, do your research and make a budget. That what every new hire at a Canadian airline needs to do.
Hint number two,
If you really want it, or think you do, pay the $$$ and take the PCC interview prep course.
Good luck and remember there is a lot more to a job than just pay.

Re: Cathay Interview
This site was a huge help for my interview preparation (Not CX though). Pretty accurate info.
