I agree... when I did a survival course in December it rained the entire time! Though amazingly enough I did manage to get a fire started and was warm and dry for the night with nothing but a tarp and a sleeping bag and more or less what is found in a survival kit.
Now if only I could always carry a tarp and a sleeping bag. Though I did when I was doing my time building cross countries.
