AC medical

Post by RVR6000 »

Anyone know the vision requirements for the AC medical, I know Transports requirements are 20/30 corrected in each eye. Are AC's requirement more stringent, I've got 20/25 corrected in one of my eyes.

Corrected 20/20. Same as your Cat 1 medical. Do not worry about your uncorrected vision. Mine is around 20/100 in one eye, but it is a straight forward correction...

The requirement is the same as a CAT1...as long as you are correctable to 20/30 in each eye, you're good!

What are they looking for in blood work? Are there limits to cholesterol and triglyceride levels, etc?

I find it interesting that this is one particular environment in the air canada hiring practices that is not posted much about. Hopefully somebody with the knowledge will feed out some information.

They basically don't tell you why. If they said it was because of a certain medical condition but you still held a valid CAT 1 medical, you could go after them......

You either get hired or a PFO and it doesn't say why. You could have pooched the interview, silly computer test, psych exam or the medical.
