Okay, I know there's a girl in the pic. Hopefully the mods will not find it offensive. We're having a wee debate on another web site as to WTF this thing is??? It's NOT a DC3, C46 or Convair. Windows are all wrong. I can see only one throttle in the middle? It's obviously a twin. My bet is something Soviet Bloc. Get past the "pilot" and tell me what you think the plane is? Okay?
Looks an awful lot like a DAK, but the windows are all wrong?

After a little research, the photos (there are many, guys must have had an absolute HOOT!) were taken in Vyskov, which is in the Czech Republic. So, chances are good, even Cat has never flown one?
A link to a pretty interesting photo site.

Enjoy
And, to the museum.

Tomato/potato, LOL! You are correct though. It's likely the licence built version of the Illyushin design.

Here it is. In the flesh. Without the distracting "Captain"....
They look a little like the Convair 240/440 series. Or the Martin 404?

This is one of the many flavours of the Sukhoi Flanker...I'd say either SU-27 or Su-35.

who care's ... thank you to the model, for climbing into an old dirty airplane, dressed like that, so we could find one more reason to look at old dirty airplanes.
To the person who posted this for all to see, thank you for your efforts.

Hard to ignore the similarities between this and my F27!
For that matter, the ATR and Dash 8.
How would you like to haul the pop and chips in this puppy?
