Hi guys,

I have an interview for a flight attendant position with Air Transat on March 21st. I have researched the company, researched grooming tips as well as how to present myself during the interview. I advised them during my telephone interview that I was not bilingual and advised that I was willing to learn french. I purchased the Rosetta stone program yesterday and started right away on lesson one. I just wanted to know if there is anyone who has been to their interview within the last week who can shed some light on what is to be expected and what types of questions are asked. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Lots of English only flight attendants at Air Transat. Just put the effort in to learn French as quickly as possible and you'll be fine. For the interview just relax and let your personality do the selling. They are looking for great customer service and a passion for travel. Make sure you highlight any experience you have in both fields during the interview.

So just an update to let you know my progress. Had my flight attendant interview today. Made it to the second interview uniform fittings and I have my medical on Friday. So here's to hoping that all goes well and and I successfully make it through.

I have my first interview soon! I'm very nervous but excited, can anyone give me any advice?
I'm english speaking and have said on the phone interview that I'd learn french so hopefully that helps!
Does anyone know how long typical layovers are for Air Transat?
What are the most common flight routes for the summer travel?

First let me say congrats on getting an interview. Before I went to mine on march 21st I was so nervous and not really sure what to expect then someone gave me some really great advice which I am going to share with you. First make sure you have all the documents they asked you to bring during the phone interview. Make sure that you are professionally dressed like you're a CEO or something. Put your hair back neatly in a bun and make sure your makeup is neatly applied. Be on time better yet assume your interview is 30 minutes earlier.

Once there be professional, smile and look them straight in their eyes. The staff there will make you feel right at home so trust me when I say you will feel right at home. Make sure you ask a question at the end. I am not bilingual but I advised them that I would be willing to learn French.

If everything goes well in your first interview then you'll have a second one right after and that one is fairly quick. Just maintain your professionalism and smile always.


You will if successful get a date for medical and fittings for your uniform.
