Quick question.... Are new hires required to memorize the Morse Code?

lol yes I guess you're right. Times are changing fast in aviation for sure. Let's hope the new contract won't leave us out in the streets after we start. Taking a gamble here before arbitration result comes through.

Any thoughts of what to expect in the contract?

Expect a TA1 type deal with less scope protections. Shouldn't be too long of a wait anyways.

IMHO waiting to see what is forced upon the pilot group (sorry, I just can't call it a 'Collective Agreement') would be the bigger gamble.
