Million Air YVR fuel truck tipped over

Post by boeingboy »

Million Air YVR is currently closed due to a fuel truck that rolled over on the ramp. No reports of aircraft damage or injuries but every fire truck at the airport is here!!

Apparently the driver was going a little too fast and turned too sharp. At this time I don't think much fuel has spilled.

When did this happen? I used to work there on the ramp. Was the driver injured bad?

according to one of the guys at CMA, the driver is ok (mostly his pride hurt) and only about 50 litres of fuel spilled.
could have been much worse, luckily the main tank did not rupture and there was no fire.

Well that's the price you pay for paying low end wages.

He was probably being paid better than many of the pilots reading this forum.
