For Cameron Air I have been told not to bother without 500 floats on the types they fly (208, 206)
I don't think they have a very high turnover rate considering where they are located...

Are you from the GTA? do you really want to fly floats? Step outside your comfort zone and go experience the world North of the Muskoka's you wont regret it.

Did Cameron air do any float training at the Hamilton harbor ? The reason for the question years ago I would see float planes approach really low but don't know if they landed. Thanks

I believe it's flying people from downtown to cottages in the Muskokas and places like that

Mostly financial district weekend warriors that MUST go to their cottages every weekend.
Golf trips
Sometimes some aerial survey work

Winter. they slow down and bid on some cargo runs as well as pelee windsor runs.

Good group of guys. Don't see any of them leaving soon though. Pretty comfortable for them.

Not too sure on their actual requirements now...but they DO usually start you on the desk till at least Thanksgiving and if they keep you, check you out on the 206.
Although being a small company. Everyone still does work the desk.

Edited for additional info

Not a bad group of guys for sure, but money isn't what it should be for any experienced float guys. Usually spend a season or two then move on....
