Does anyone else feel the Canadian womens soccer team got f#$in cheated today?
Non call on the US hand ball in the 18 and the bull$hit hand ball off incidental contact to give the US the penalty to tie it.....

I unfortunately only caught the last 30 minutes of Extra Time...even in that time I was frustrated at best by the play, and the officiating...Great play by our women's team, but they were robbed. Still playing for Bronze, but this is a team that should have been playing for Gold.
Reminds me of the 2002 womens hockey. That kind of officiating was supposed to be the end of the extreemly poor calls that were blatently in favor of the states.
Despite the poor calls and obvious US favoritism by the refs the Canadians prevailed.
Too bad we can't do the same 10 years later in 2012, there's only so much the women can take!

I feel exactly the same way. That ref did everything she could to help the US... FIX, FIX, FIX!! Gotta wonder how much money was riding on the US winning.

Flying a Beech 200 must be fun for you BBB... and I never watch Soccer. I decided to watch this game to support our country and enjoy some monday Olympic soccer. By the end of the game and with the disgusting calls biased against us, I finally understand why all those "soccer hoodlums" in Europe lose their minds and want blood for the outrageous calls the refs make! This was exactly why I never watch world cup soccer...its all fixed, and we so completely owned the USA team! The refs were not gonna let this cinderella story play out this time.
