Just out of curiosity.
Are there any older pilots staying actively involved flying after retirement from an aviation career?
Recreational flying?part-time instructing?part time charters?other?

Re: Flying after retirement?
I had a forced retirement after a crash in 08. I started to focus on the the business end of aviation and continued my career in management. I have also taught (Beech) ground school and even headed a training division for a fairly large and well known company in Canada.
I know several guys that are retired but still do some water bomber flying for a few months in the summer or they take ferry contracts and get paid (well) to see the world.
To me, retirement from the cockpit did not mean retirement from the industry (as much as some may wish i went away lol) and there are many other avenues (some you suggested) that are available to a retired driver.
Good luck finding what works for you!
Cheers & Fly safe.

We have several retired or semi-retired members actively flying in our club.
