Plane carrying Romney's wife fills with smoke

DENVER -- A plane carrying Ann Romney, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's wife, made an emergency landing Friday afternoon after smoke filled the cabin. No injuries were reported.
An apparent electrical fire forced the detour on the flight from Omaha, Nebraska, to Los Angeles, campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul said. The candidate and his wife spoke immediately after the incident, said Saul, who shared photographs on Twitter of firefighters boarding the private jet.

Aircraft N125PS is a 1986 Challenger 601 operated by World Wide Jets out of Arizona.

At least when John McCain ran - his wife Cindy flew around a Citation XL that she owned!!

Actually I recall it made an emergency landing during the campaign and I posted a photo on flightaware
of the aircraft and actually got 'hate mail' for posting it!!, ended up removing the photo . .

Generally, I'd agree with you on that after a quick watching of the video, but taken in the context of the backdrop of the seemingly endless clips of him making absurd foot-in-mouth comments, I'm not sure if he was entirely joking or not.

I am no fan of Romney but I don't understand
the propoganda that he doesn't pay enough
income tax.

Last year, Romney paid almost US$2,000,000
in income taxes, while almost half the USA
paid none.

Yet in some weird left-wing way of thinking,
coming from the people who pay no income
tax, Romney's a bad person because he doesn't
pay enough income tax.

Like it or not, tax is part of living in an organized society, and in a capitalist world money turns the gears. It's not the net tax paid, but the percentage paid that's being looked at.
