Aircraft Structures Apprentice - looking for work

I am an apprentice Structures Technician just starting out on the hunt for a job. I am finding the search very frustrating and am hoping that there may be some helpful tips or hints that can come my way to help me out. The only place that I know I don't see myself working for the time being, is up north. I have to be honest there. Other than that, I am very able to relocate. I would like to work for a smaller company, specializing in manufacturing, both with sheet metal and composites, and working from there into overhaul and repair. I am really excited about being able to get to work and getting my aviation career started. I come with an excellent work ethic, pride in my work and am an honest team player. All pointers and advice will be most appreciated.

If you are interested in manufacturing and working your way into an overhaul job, look at Viking Air in Victoria. Kinda lame to start but it will get better as you demonstrate ability. Union shop, good pay and benefits.
