Once again, the combination of very sharp jumper
dumper pilots, and the usual level of maintenance
that we expect on jump planes, results in another
successful dead stick landing.

It just occurred to me - did he run it out of Jet-A?

Looks like the pilot has something on his mind as he exits stage left....nearest bathroom? Chat with mainenance? Applying for a multi eng job?

Nicely done though.

Just wondering what that sound was as the Caravan approaches the camera.
Either it was a vehicle driving up or is it possible that the gas-generator part of the engine was running but the power section had seized or failed somehow?
Assuming the Caravan has a free-turbine style engine, of course...

The Jeep Cherokee that pulls up right in front of the camera person.
