However, as a consequence of the mishap, the massive cargo sustained 69.4 million USD worth damage to the landing gear, cargo floor, underbelly, antennas and main structural components.
Sheesh. I wonder if that's a record for an accident with no injuries?

That might depend on whether you're calculating based on the straight damage cost figure alone or as a percentage of airframe value. I wonder what the sticker price on a C-17 is?

I guess I had in mind a question of whether it's a record for an aircraft still considered worthy of repair.

I believe that QANTAS pranged a 747-400 a few years back and then to avoid a hull loss (making the Rainman claim no longer valid) they paid much more than it was worth to repair it.

QANTAS have had plenty of hull losses in their early history. A few burnt to a crisp on the ground.
