CPL materials study for Exams

Post by kokanee258 »

Hello All..

I've been studying my butt off in the last months or so to try and pass my CPL for the second time! I failed 3 sections the first time and now have to do it all over again. Does any one here have any recomendations on the marial or how to study the most practical ways to succeed the written? Right now im using caulhane CPL marial along with Canadian pilot answer guide questions. I found that Cauhane's CPL written questions does not really hopeful or even abit confusing some of the stuff.. Canadian pilot answer guide gives a good clear information which Im keep doing the questions one after another. If any one here have any recomendations on material or books or if i should keep what I'm doing or switch to Cauhane CPL written please give your thought.. Thanks you

It appears from your post that English is not your first language.

That means you need to study your English and you can use
the . text book which is excellent study material.

You are unlikely to have any different result using any other study material.

If you failed the exam three times, it means you have some
serious language difficulties that will require you to attend
classes to get your English up to a level that will enable you
to read and write at a level expected as a commercial pilot.

It also means that you did not test yourself sufficiently
on the practice exams.

First, read the text book and make sure you understand it.

The practice exams will test your understanding and any time
you have to spend time on a question is good opportunity
to try translating the text back into your first language
and, use the material to increase your vocabulary.

1. Go buy a <ulhanes test book.
I went through it 6 times after I partialled my exam. You only get what you put in - I messed around and TC bit me in the ass by making me fail by a mark. Sure learned my lesson!
