Hotel Cancellations

Post by stickontheice »

Just curious if AC flight crews or Jazz flight crews get a travel credit or other credit if he/she cancels a hotel? If so what it is. Thanks.

$15 on your next cheque for every time you don't use the hotel. You still get your per-diems as well.

Provided they actually pay you. More likely scenario is that you search your pay check for it, call the company to enquire about it and then are required to submit a pay claim for it. You MIGHT get your 15.00 a month or so after you should have......

Not sure what mainline is like but I have never had a problem getting the cash from Jazz when cancelling a room. I think I made an extra $400 last last year by visiting friends and relatives overnight.

I was at Jazz for 8yrs and never had an issue either. AC is a completely animal. Getting money owed to you is like pulling teeth. The amount of expense money not being paid out properly is in the millions every year......
