Just passed my CARS exam and I need some clarification

I just passed my CARS exam this morning, which is awsome, but now I am a bit unsure of where my license goes from here....

I technically dont have the full Hours requirement accomplished yet. According to my math I wont have it until July.

So my question is this, will TC give me a license now or will I have to wait until my hours are complete?

Congrats on passing the exam. You will have to wait until your 48 months is up before any license will be issued. TC allows you to write CARs 6 months prior to this point as you know.

Keep in mind, once you get your shiny new AME license, you still can't do anything with it until the AMO you work for issues you with an ACA. (Aircraft Certifying Authority).

Unless you want to do non specialized work on privately operated aircraft covered by your license rating.
