Photo: Not much to go on, but any help would be appreciated
Hello Everyone.
I've attached a photo of an otter that was being flown by Merv Langille back in the 1960-80s? I believe the paint colours were that of Laurentian Airways.
I know that's not a lot of information, and there are no real identifying marks in the photo, except for a rather "rustic" dock.
Any help on the when and where would be appreciated.
Thanks again.

This may or may not help at all but got this off the web and another pic of CF-APQ:

In the foreground is one of Laurentian's Norwegian Otters, CF-APQ. Behind it you see DC-3, CF-XUS, which was owned by Ontario Central Airlines. Terry believes, however, it may have been on loan to Nordair for the James Bay Project.

Also not terribly relevant, but does narrow the date range a little and give you an airframe S/N:

Cheers!
Edit:
A little more reading turned up this:

Same aircraft shows up on photo sites painted all white in 2003....all three of which were sold to Laurentian Air Services Ltd of Ottawa. LN-LMM became CF-APR, the other two being CF-APP (138, ex LN-BDD) and CF-APQ (201, ex LN-BIB). By this stage of its career, LN-LMM's total airframe time had risen to 8,150 hours. The Bill of Sale for all three aircraft is dated 19th October 1971.
Cheers!

All three Otters entered service with Laurentian Air services, which was a large operator of the DHC-3. Over the years, it operated no less than fourteen Otters. Although based at Ottawa, most of the company's flying was done in Quebec. CF-APQ was involved in an accident at Esker, Newfoundland on 2nd August 1974. As the report summarises: “Selected unsuitable terrain; overshot; substantial damage”. It was repaired and sold to Direquair Inc of Chibougamau, Quebec in 1977, registered C-FAPQ.

You can also check out For the Love of Flying a book by Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail. It is the story of LAS and there might be some info in there.

Hello Again Everyone,
I've been able to check out all the recommendations that were posted above, but so far, no one has been able to determine where the photo was taken. However, after checking the list of Laurentian Airways staff, I found out that Merv Langille flew for them in the early 1970s.
So I will continue my search. If I can't put an answer toe "where" for the photo, maybe some one else can.
One again, thank you for all your feedback. It is very appreciated.
