Possibly the greatest understatement of all time.
I know less than nothing about those kind of ships but would a power reduction with a turn to load up the wing or some uncoordinated flight help things out? Yikes!

Scary video. I've seen this before but with test pilots wearing parachutes.

Loading up the wing can make things worse in case of flutter because this speeds up the airflow on top of the wing, so don't try that.

In case of flutter, chop throttle to idle immediately, straight and level.

When I first viewed that video, I had no audio. I assumed it was an investigative flight to see if they could intentionally replicate and record the condition. I assumed that's why the one crew member was kneeling at the cockpit, presumably observing the parameters present when the oscillations occurred.

You would expect this video to be dated from the 40's or 50's, not today in a modern business jet. Some engineer dropped the ball in a big way.

“We did a great deal of analysis using finite element modeling, refining it and putting different models on the aircraft until we were able to get a model that agreed with what was being reported in flight.” I wonder what would have happened if they couldn't get a model that agreed with what was being reported in flight? "Oh sure it happens in practice, but what about theory!"
