I do regularly look at the listing sites. I would like to buy a Canadian registered bird. I was hoping that maybe an owner that was sitting on the fence about selling might see this ad and get back to me.

The marketplace forum maybe doesnt have the same level of traffic as the GC section, but there are many serious buyers and sellers that post in that forum. Worth a shot. May I ask why a 140 specifically?

"Hey, I see you own a 140, do you like flying it? Want to sell it to me?" Personally I find this tacky. There is enough airplanes out there for sale, if you can't find one listed ask around the airport.

I think COPA's Canadian Trade Plane has a couple listed. Scrounge the lounge of your local FBOs for a back issue, or if you're lucky, a current issue.
