Air Canada
If you are really bored in your hotel room and you want some entertainment. Try calling AC and see if you can get an agent to talk to. After about 5 min of a computer talking you finally get put on hold. I have been on hold now for 27 min. And still holding. I guess this is why AC is always asking for bail out money because it is damn near impossible to take my money and book a ticket. Oh well, West Jet always answers.
Say again, your coming in stupid

Why would anyone use the telephone when you can use the Air Canada web site to book a ticket. Its fast informative cheap and convenient. You can even print out your boarding pass 12 hours before your flight.
Oh yeah most hotels offer internet services if you forgot to bring your laptop..
Are you sure you don't work for WJ? Me thinks you do...

Either way, there is no excuse to be on hold that long. It seems to be the norm these days. Virtually impossible to speak to an actual human being.

Does anyone else appreaciate the irony present in this statement?Out of Control wrote:Say again, your coming in stupid
Here's an unpleasant AC experience from last night...
Went to pick up a friend who was arriving on an AC flight from YUL...
Waited at the baggage carousel for her bags, 2 came off and a third was still to come. Many other people were also waiting patiently watching the belt go round and round with the same unclaimed baggage and nothing new being put on. So, fed up with waiting after about 15 minutes, went to ask an AC employee if all the bags had come off the flight. He went back to check and when I saw him return he said there were no more bags and then promptly went to his office. I sent my friend to the baggage service area to make her claim and she was taken care of.
Now, after knowing that bags were bumped when they left YUL, not at any time did anyone from AC make an announcement that the bags were in fact bumped and they seemed to have no problem with watching the pax stand around the carousel waiting for their non existant bags to arrive.
One simple announcement is all that was needed but instead they pissed everyone off... good customer service!

Further entertainment can be had if you go to YVR domestic dep level. Grab a sandwich at subway and watch the AC aircraft arriving and having to wait several minutes for the ground to show up and bring them into a gate. I just sit there and shake my head at this sort of crap.

I had el presidente on board the other day. Gate agent...on time. Ramp crew...working hard. Door closed 5 minutes before departure. Ground crew at the arrival gate. Pax agent waiting for flight on arrival. everything was amazing and ran like clockwork. Incidentaly the rest of the day was crap as usual.
