EVEKTOR EV-55 OUTBACK

Post by longjon »

Who else thinks this has Dornier and Piaggo engineers on the development team. Piaggo nose and Dornier aft.

I think its a good looking machine and wish them well in selling it.

Kind of in between the King Air 100 and a Dornier. If I won 50 mil next week I would buy one, just to get it on TC's radar

In the pictures there is an artist concept of the outback on floats , how would that work with retractable gear.

Probably just remove the doors, trunions and actuators, etc. Engineer the float attach fittings to mate up with the trunion hinge points. Then close it all in with a modified door/fairing assembly.

Look at that wing, you think it would work on floats?

I can see the lads at Pacific Coastal getting a woody over this one. It looks like a smaller, sexier Shorts 360.

Looks like a Let 410!! There are 3 410s operating off the field I work on and believe you me they don't look like the Outback.
