Well done to our Neighbours in the North West. One of the best I've seen yet!

Flying an aircraft and building a guitar are two things that are easy to do bad and difficult to do right

Man, with that one video you made me very homesick for the North. Great video, I miss my people
Re: Alaska Bush Flying Video
What agreat video presentation. The scenery and camera work is first rate. I watched it twice.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but it would have been nice if the fact that the Beaver and Otter were DeHavilland products, designed and built in Canada, had been mentioned somewhere.

Yeah, and one of the guys recalling the history of the Beaver said they were released from the US Army to the civilian market after WWII.... However, Great Vid!
Thanks for the link Dave.

G'day
Loved the black and white photo of a ramp showing a handful of aircraft including an R.C.A.F. Lancaster. Makes me miss flying in Labrador.
Cheers...Chris

Re: Alaska Bush Flying Video
See the quick shot of an old Simpson Air Beaver? Or is that a different company and just a coincidence...
Re: Alaska Bush Flying Video
If you look close I believe it says Simpson Air, Ketchikan on it or something like that. Different company from that of the WFBP.
Re: Alaska Bush Flying Video
Slats & '97 tercel, did you guys work for WFBP? I'm headed back for season 4. Nahanni inn, ice breaker (currently banned), betsaka, not to fail to mention the sick spots we pop in and out of in the park, oh and beers with deadly teddy of course. What's your stories?
Re: Alaska Bush Flying Video
Yes. Four years out of ET4 / EZ7 split between both ends. Very fond memories of great times.

Yep! Worked in YFS from late 2001 to 2005.
I miss Betsaka and landing on the Wrigley road
Good times having beers with Jacques and the crew.

Re: Alaska Bush Flying Video
I watched the video on my TV via Apple TV's vimeo app (I highly recommend the big screen
).
Now I want to quit my job and be a bush pilot in Alaska.
I'd better go read some more of the posts on AVCanada for the pre-requisite reality check.
